Shipping Policy
At Refrigerants Center, we work to process and ship orders quickly and accurately. Please review the following policy for important details regarding shipping methods, cutoff times, address requirements, and freight deliveries.
Order Processing and Shipping Cutoff Times
Orders shipping by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground must be placed before 3:00 PM Central Time to qualify for same-business-day processing.
Freight orders must be placed before 12:00 PM Central Time to qualify for same-business-day processing.
Orders received after the applicable cutoff time, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Parcel Shipments
Smaller orders are typically shipped by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground, depending on the most appropriate service for the order.
Transit times for parcel shipments may vary based on destination, carrier operations, and delivery type. Please note that residential deliveries may experience delays compared to business addresses.
Freight Shipments
Bulk, palletized, and larger-volume orders ship by freight carrier. For freight shipments, we select the carrier based on the best available combination of speed, service, and rate.
All bulk or pallet orders must ship to a business address.
The delivery location must have either:
- a forklift, or
- a loading dock
If the delivery location does not have a forklift or loading dock, the customer must request the necessary delivery service in advance. Additional charges may apply, and delivery may be delayed depending on carrier scheduling.
Hazardous Materials and Address Restrictions
Hazardous materials shipments cannot be delivered to a P.O. Box.
If an order is placed with a P.O. Box as the shipping address, we will contact the customer to request a valid physical shipping address. The order will remain on hold until the address is updated, and this may result in processing or shipping delays.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of order placement.
Incorrect, incomplete, or non-deliverable addresses may delay shipment and may result in additional fees or required address corrections before the order can be released.
Residential Deliveries
Residential deliveries sent by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground may take longer than deliveries sent to commercial locations.
For larger shipments, freight delivery to residential addresses may not be available unless special arrangements are made in advance and approved by the carrier.
Delivery Delays
Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to:
- carrier scheduling
- hazardous materials handling requirements
- weather
- incorrect or incomplete address information
- residential delivery limitations
- special delivery service requests
Refrigerants Center is not responsible for carrier delays once the order has been released for shipment.
Customer Delivery Requirements for Freight Orders
For freight deliveries, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery site is properly equipped to receive the shipment.
If special delivery services are required, including liftgate service or other handling accommodations, the customer must request them before shipment is scheduled. Failure to provide correct delivery site information may result in delays, re-delivery fees, storage fees, or other carrier charges.
Shipping Availability
All orders are subject to product availability, payment verification, and shipping eligibility.
We reserve the right to delay, hold, or cancel any order that cannot be shipped safely, accurately, or in compliance with carrier requirements.
